William A. Boos, Jr. was a member of the Michigan House of Representatives during the 1960s representing a portion of Saginaw County. Born in Detroit in September 1922 and raised in Saginaw, Boos earned a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and his law degree from the Detroit College of Law. He served in the United States Army during the Second World War.〔House Resolution 528 (2002): (A resolution of tribute offered as a memorial for William A. Boos, Jr., former member of the House )〕 Elected to the House in 1960, Boos was also a delegate to the 1964 Democratic National Convention. Following his retirement from the Legislature, Boos was appointed by Governor George W.
